Two Cranes Aikido has the pleasure of hosting Frank Doran Shihan on the week-end of April 17 - 19, 2020.  Frank Sensei communicates his wisdom with his vivid stories and his meticulous and elegant movement, reminding us to embrace yielding, pay attention to posture, and break uke’s balance at first touch. He is a generous and kind teacher, radiating the ki flow and  the joy that he encourages us to feel in our training.  Please join us for the week-end.  All students are welcome.

Frank Doran Shihan, 8th dan, is one of the founding fathers of aikido in Northern California. He began training in 1959 in San Diego, California under Tokuji Hirata, an early student of Koichi Tohei in Hawaii. He is the Chief Instructor of Aikido West.
